Community: What are you learning in this season? – In this season God is teaching me and showing me how important it is to be Authentically myself and Boldness. – Brianna, Ig : _coachbri_

Psalm 139:14-16 ESV – “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

I’ll never forget when I decided that I was going to follow God’s voice and teach for the first time in 2012. My first teaching was on Esther. When I watch that video now, I have to catch myself because I’ve said things like:

  • Oh my goodness. Listen to my voice!
  • I was wearing too much lipstick.
  • I said that word too many times.

There I was criticizing the 2012 me. Have you ever watched a recording of yourself after maybe doing a live video or seeing yourself on video recorded by somebody else? What was your reaction? Usually, we begin to pick on our flaws. However, God doesn’t see us how we see ourselves. He sees us how Psalm 139 describes us.

My 2012 confidence that I started with was built up over time because of what I knew God had called me to do. I began to focus more on Him than me. Because of that, I began to see myself how God saw me. Just like Brianna shared with the community – she realized how important it was to be authentic to who she was and to walk in the boldness that belonged to her.

Confidence was not something I lacked. I already had it. Life had convinced me that I didn’t have it. Boldness is not something you lack. It’s already within you. You just have to take off the weight that is keeping it from being unleashed. Guess how you unleash it? By seeing how powerful you already are as the person God made you to be!

Wake Up & Win Confession: Good Morning Holy Spirit. I thank you that you are showing me just how amazing I am within my own abilities and personality. I thank you that you have made me to be unique and wonderfully made. I thank you that I am enough to obtain all that you have for me. I am confident and I embrace who I am within you! Amen.
