Community: The one lesson that God has been teaching me in this season is to “BE Still”, seek Him for answers and not look to man! – Delores, IG (iamdelorest)
Lamentations 3:25 ESV – “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”
The definition of the verb seek is: attempt to find (something)
We must be intentional to look for God and to meet with Him. If you live in America, our culture is built on chasing the “dream”. Our pursuit of having this picture of success is what drives us a society. I used to be like that.
I used to make time to watch successful speakers and watch my favorite shows on Netflix. Yet, I would complain about how I didn’t have enough time to pray. I wasn’t seeking Him. I was giving God scraps yet praying for Him to bless the works of my hands. I was proclaiming how good God was but rarely talking to Him. I didn’t even know what He was trying to speak into my spirit.
More than ever, we must seek Him because He is speaking. He is looking to direct us and point us in the right direction. We have a great work to do.
Wake Up & Win Confession: Good Morning Holy Spirit. I seek You Heavenly Father. Help me to hear your voice even more. I thank you for Your love for me. I thank You that you are patient with me. Help me to see You more and more each day. Wherever I have put you last, I repent. I am sorry. Holy Spirit…have Your way in my life. Pour out Your Spirit in a greater dimension in my life.
